Looking at a 1993 Cherokee Automatic with 65k miles. Seller states it was in the family and well maintained. No rust according to seller, pics look good too and states that the hood was redone due to minor scratches and undercarriage has been undercoated. New exhaust and aftermarket radio put in. Only thing that the Jeep has is that infamous wobble, which dies down when brakes are applied. Seller was asking $3200 but on phone knocked it down to $2800....however the wobble is worrying me. I'm a grad student on a budget and I'm worried it will cost me more money down the line to repair this jeep...considering it is almost 20 years old and I pretty much have to have a mechanic do everything aside from an oil change. However I do love XJ Cherokees...so any advice? This is like the 4th car I looked at this week and so far the lowest mileage and good body condition...but the year and wobble are throwing me off.

I wouldn't worry about the year unless it shows its age. But still, $2,800 even though it has a wobble? That might be something to watch out for...
