OBDII Scanners

I'm looking for a BT scanner that will show Mode 6 data. I have a couple of $5 dongles that I've used for years with Torque on my Aztek with no problems, but they don't show a most of the info for my 2000 Cherokee Sport that they did with the Aztek. I just got a Bluedriver from Amazon, and although the interface is slick and clean, it still doesn't show Mode 6 (every entry is "Reserved for future support"). It is basically a $100 piece of plastic to me that will be going back to Amazon tomorrow.

Any scanners that will do the job for me? At this point, I'll go with a handheld corded scanner that is under $100.

Check out the OBDLink. I don't know for sure about Mode 6, but you could ping them and ask.

Did the 2000 XJ even have mode 6?

It is also worth noting that not every vehicle has it, as it only started finding its way into vehicles beginning in the early to mid 2000s.

My little scanner which will do freeze frame and live data has certain things that won't work with my Jeep.
I believe one of them is an O2 sensor test. I would have to pull it out, hook it up, and look to be sure that is one.
But having tried to run it in the past I get something along the lines of not supported by the vehicle or something similar.
So assuming I am using the scanner right I am going to guess that my '00 does not support Mode 6.(?).

Hmmm. Interesting. First time I have heard of "Mode 6". If it's an advanced diagnostic, my guess is that it will be difficult to find BT scanners that support it. Even the good one are low end.
