i'm waiting on my 4.5" lift and i'd rather do it myself and learn for the future than pay someone else to do it and learn nothing... will it be too hard for a newbie to lift justy by following the directions???

4.5" RC AAL

take your time, and make friends with the search button here for any problems you run into. it only gets hard if you have to start cutting bolts. Even then it's not that bad if you take your time and do your research.

Breaker (Flex)Bar, Propane Torch to heat-up nuts and bolts, and a BFH!

PB Blaster is your friend!!!

and a torque wrench. 21mm socket and wrench. spring compressor. And I found myself needing a sawsall and an angle grinder as well.

Make sure you have a full weekend. Like they said take your time. Not a bad idea to have an extra set of hands around eather. You can do it alone but it helps a lot. Just to make sure ill state the obvious you need a floor jack and at least 2 Tall jack stands. Its also a good time to check axle fluids and t case. My t case has a 1 3/16ths plug.

I put my 4.5 inch lift in by myself but it would of been much easier to have a second set of hands and patience
