I have the same lift and used the stock shocks. They're decent shocks and figured I would upgrade when I blow through them. Sitting on 31's with stock flares, rims and splash shields

Dont use stock shocks if you actually wheel it. I have the same kit you are looking at. I will NEVER buy rustys shocks again. If you really care about your ride quality then stay away from the white bodied cheap shocks. Spend the extra cash on some blistiens

Think I comprehended that just fine. Plus he was talking about the shocks that came with the kit (those would be the white bodies). Some reading comprehension is definately in order, just not for me.

No need to get butt hurt dude. Just trying to give the guy MY REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE with THOSE EXACT SHOCKS .
I dont understand why everyone on this forum is so against spending a little bit extra mpney on a superior product. Then gets butt hurt when some one says certain products are not as good as another.

Better shocks are always a plus but on a three inch lift it's not a game changer. He asked if he would be fine with the white bodies. I've done 4 3" lifts. Two RC's and two Rustys, in my experience I've never had a problem with shocks in the Rustys kit. It's ok, we're aloud to disagree.

And that's why I recommended Rusty's, it has a softer front spring. Stiff coils (like the ones in the RC) will give the truck a terrible ride. The best shocks in the world will have a tough time taming a stiff spring in on road conditions. If it's a DD the front springs will have a much bigger impact on drivability than the shocks. If you read most of the "death wobble" threads they usually involve a kit with stiff springs and someone using stock arms. Your springs create the bounce, your shocks tame the bounce so you don't feel like your on a pogo stick. That's been my experience with 3" lifts on DD.
