Default New rc 3" lift kit with full leaf packs

hey all, last night i finished installing the second half of my RC kit, which was the rear section, which i found was A LOT easier to do than the front.when i did the front , i had A LOT of difficulty lining up the upper control arm and front diff bolt holes.anyone else run into this? did i do something wrong for it to be SUCH a pain in the *****? after doing the front last week , i went to start the rear and as many of you know what happened next, yes, i broke one of the upper shock bolts.UGH!!! so at that point ,i called it quits. did some research here on the CF, i found that there were a few solutions.the one i liked the best AND IT WORKED FREAKIN' AWESOME was the air hammer , knocking out tack-welded nuts and then fishing/pulling through a bolt and washer with a piece of thin wire. i did this with all 4 upper shock bolts. i want to thank you,the members of CF for this very useful tech tip.i was NOT looking forward to drilling and tapping and breaking drill bits or taps.that sux when that happens.my avatar is the before pic for now,and i will soon post the after pic.so far i think it looks great and rides great. SORRY FOR THE LENGHTY POST.(had to get it off my chest) thank you all again.

ps.for anyone reading this, after the bolts were snapped and the rear shocks were removed, knocking out the nuts and fishing through bolts took ALL of 5 minutes.

Glad all of us could help out. I found a write up of the shock bolts while I broke all 4 of mine and now I post a link to it whenever someone asks about broken shock bolts, Its the best. It also works for some other places, for example two of the bolts broke on my rear bumper (one each side) when I was putting in the nutstrips to install my hitch, those now have been replaced as were all 4 of my shock bolts.

I used to be way more worried about breaking bolts, but now before I even touch them, I check to see if its a weld nut I can just remove if necessary although I would prefer if I didn't break any

for the 3" lift did you just put on new springs/shocks and thats it? what other adjustments did you have to make? did you do an alignment check afterwards?
