I recently bought a 97 XJ. I have already had some stuff done to it and plan on doing a lot more. I bought this gem from a dealearship for just about 3k. It was a single owner jeep that had all of the maint records, and 123K on it. So far I have had the muffler and Cat changed out because the Cat was one not caught during the recall period and it was a little noisy due to the rattle.

I had a Flowmaster super 44 put on
I have put new wheels on: Wheels are by Vision, they are soft 8 black style
I installed new rear hatch struts, because the old ones were toast
I got rugged ridge floor mats for the front, back, and cargo
I replaced the rear hatch rubber gasket as well
I also got combo #1 from nates 4X4 that I will be installing in a couple months

I plan on... within 6 months
Monstaliner on the nates 4x4 Products, the stock fenders and rocker panels. Maybe remove the carpet and replace with Monstaliner as well.
I am going to get all new lenses for the lights. I'm going to get some smoky ones that I saw on ebay
3" rough country lift. The one that includes the new drive arms
Window tint
New deck
New headliner

Within the next couple years...
Bigger tires/ relocate full size spare to roof with a tire mount
Paint job
make a decision on an engine rebuild
