New Bumpers installed on my XJ..
00' Jeep XJ Sport // 4WD // Inline-6 // 4-door // Dana-35
A new chapter of my XJ modifications have begun, in which we installed the bumpers from that 99' Wrangler and it was a pain to sandblast and paint them, but in the end it was worth it... https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...196e03bb44.jpg Had to make custom brackets to fit the frame for both front and back, I got that sticker from my trip to Rachel, NV. :001_tongue: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...da57151909.jpg Front view: Notice the turn signal light on the right side is busted and part of the grill is missing (Getting a new grill set with lights and everything Friday). https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...b81c81e9b7.jpg Expressing myself through Patriotism ;) https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...278dd98ec9.jpg I mentioned that rusted floorboard on the passenger side didn't I. Haha.. I've got the new part I just need to find someone to weld it in, so I have the carpet pulled back for that. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...13d59deed5.jpg with the hood down... So there we have it.. |
Huh. Started reading and wasnt thrilled... But i dig it. Its different. And it actually looks pretty cool. Only thing id do is fab up some caps on the rear to close up the daylight under the tail lights.
But all in all, pretty badass man! |
Ill consider doing that. Thanks for taking a look.

ah the old school tube bumper. usually found on old toyotas. can you get a straight on or a side shot of the rear bumper? kind of at an odd angle. the front looks really good on there.

Ill post more pictures when I get home tonight, thanks!
