I've bought quite a few products from these guys have never regretted it (power washer, leaf blower, snowblower). What's good is that they service the product so are familiar with them. They carry many brands of one product but give recommendations as to which they recommend (good, better, best). Take a look.

For 33"s or even filling 4 stock tires, I would stay away from any compressor that pugs into the cigar lighter. Not enough CFM cubic feet per minute. Get one that uses alligator clips to the battery or hardwire yourself.
VIAR is a quality compressor. I use the 400. Mounted in cargo area and hardwired.Fills 2 tires at once with a split hose.
I drive in sand often and have to air down/up every time. Over 2 years old and running strong. Coupled with a deep cycle battery, I usually do not run the engine when filling tires. 31"

if you want a 12 volt compressor that will last, you need to use a commercial product.
hit up any tow truck supply center and pick up a decent version like this one from viair...

Hf heavy duty one... I got mine on sale $20 off plus I used a 20%coupon... Ended up paying @$45... With the 2yr warranty. Can't beat it.
I run 33's and it fills them fine... Around 3 min per tire.

I've been using the same one since 1991 when I got my first car. It's a "BonAire" brand, not something I would consider "reputable" and it's plastic case is far from heavy duty. It's gotten a lot of use over the years an just keeps going.
It's great for an emergency but I would never plan to use it to air up all 4 tires after offroading. For reference, my Acura had 18" 235/45 low profiles and recommended 32 psi. If I was at 25 psi, it would take about 10 minutes to get to 32.
You would likely spend 60-90 minutes airing up four 33" tires using my lighter port compressor. They would work but like others said, it's way to slow.

I've used my MV50 compressor for a few years now. It fills my 33s pretty damn quick, maybe 5 minutes a tire. Only complaint is it gets HOT so I try not to put it back in the bag immediately after using it. Pretty cheap, too.
