So do u know?

I would think 30 x 10.50 for tires if you don't want to trim. I went with Rubicon express for my lift and bought it from quadratrac, however there are endless sights pushing the same lifts at different prices. You will have to decide what brand you want to go with and what you usage will be. then just shop it out. Also be prepared to deal with any issues that might come up during and after install (broken bolts, proper tools, vibrations, drive line angle, death wobble, alignment)
As for making it look nice that's a matter of opinion and finances. I'm sure we could list enough mods to put any of us in the poor house. I like a wide stance and chop tops, but cutting the top off and axle swap is not in my budget right now. I am trying to pick my rig over and make sure it runs right before making it look better.
Good luck with your build. Hope I could help.

Places to buy lift kits...
Morris 4x4
4 wheel parts
Rusty's
Quadratec
Serious offroad

Good advice from Steve regarding lift and tires. There are several ways of going about it from collecting parts from the junk yard to budget lifts to full-blown long arm kits. You'll have to let your budget determine what works best for you. My lift (3") with five 29" tires and wheels cost me about $1150 spread out over several months and $850 of that was shocks, wheels, and tires. Watch advertisements for deals and incentives on wheels and tires (I paid $505 out the door for my Soft 8s and Wrangler Radials). You can often find deals on gently used wheels and tires on CL.

As far as making it nice. That's easy, just personalize it. I get more compliments on my silly hood stripes than anything else. They cost me exactly two cans of flat black Plasti Dip ($15). But please, no stick-on chrome fender vents or spoilers, if we see that kind of **** you won't be allowed to come here anymore.

You can always sand and paint the frame. Two birds with one stone. Plus you can do it under $35.

92xj2wd 04-30-2014 10:29 PM

Well I'll probably do that then to and one of my friends painted his rear diff so I'll probably do that

You and your jeep will be thankful you did.

Cheap and lifts don't mix do your home work before you buy a lift.
