As long as you keep your XJ, the Wrangler looks nice

The only real Jeeps have square headlights.

Good looking Jeep otherwise...

Okay, So I gotta throw a big ol' WTF out at you for typing that.

That was my first thought.

My second thought was that you probably just copy & pasted that into your post. Is it a dealership, or is the current owner just another one of those douchebags that think they're cool for driving a lifted wrangler?

Edit: Forgot to express my feelings about the tj lol. I think it looks great, His asking price is a bit high, but I think your offer is good. The winch plate looks kind of flimsy to me though, not sure about that. Overall though, I like it. :D

Is it me or does the steering/axle look bent? Maybe it's just perspective....

So untrue...:bs:

Axle is straight, the tie rod may be bent, but it could also be how it's made. We all know tj's aren't straight

lol no, i got a couple buddies with wronglers and their tie rods are straight, **** I even used one of their trail spares on my XJ one day after i busted a tie rod end....

tannerp89 06-09-2010 11:37 AM

ok so i just talked with the guy and got some more details...
the 4.0L is a reman with about 10k miles on it, all accessories are new
new radiator
new PCM
the body has roughly 130k on it, 50k of which was behind a camper.
both axles have been rebuilt, stock gearing (3.07's?)
tires/lift have 250 miles on em since install
bumpers and winch have never been used
Guy said he never even had a chance to take it wheelin because he owns a dealership and got a low mile Rubicon for cheap....the bastard.
oh and the tie rod is bent a little, buts thats a quick fix!
and dont worry, I WILL be asking for reciepts for all the work he CLAIMS to have had done.

xjoffroad 06-09-2010 11:40 AM

is it just me or does 10K sound a little high to a TJ that probably came off the assembly line in 1996? 14 years ago? in seattle you can find 100K mile tj's for 5K-7K
