i haven't seen may on the forums but its a great rack, though I might be pulling off here in a few months. Going to hybrid exo cage but the rack might end up on my gf's 96.

had a minor issue with the tire mount to start but JCR change the mount. its a tube off the rack with a plate with 3 studs that you can run lug nuts on. my issue was there was no support on the tube holding the tire and a weld broke. ended up fixing it with some 1/4 plate and JCR covered the welding bill. They also updated that mount to make it stronger so that wont happen again.

I noticed there shipping was a bit high....do the build their own shipping crates or some thing, I mean 60 bucks for a bumper not bad but 170 something for that rack...seems a bit much....

I am also looking for one and love the idea of putting my spare on top. Some points though:
1-I'm kind of worried about sun damage to the tire. Being constantly under heat, light, and on the piping hot black roof, I'm just a little concerned for it's integrity. Any of you could probably rule this out by just saying get quality tires.
2- I sometimes use my roof for canoes and kayaks. Are there any designs that can allow this or are simple enough to be able to remove the spare for such instances and have level front and rear bars to lay the crafts flat?
