Keep in mind that RE springs net way more than advertised lift height. That 5.5" spring will likely be more like a 7" coil. I run RE 4.5" coils and got 6" of lift. With RE 3.5" leafs and 1" RE shackles I got about 6.5" out of the rear.

EDIT: You want adjustable CA's, the top ones at least.

I decided to go with the RE 3.5 super ride. I have a 2 inch BB on right now with shackles and spacers. If I stack the BB to the 3.5 RE I will need adjustable upper control arms wont i? Can I get away with stock uppers until i can buy UCA if I add the BB spacers?

Personally, I would want the fat checks to get in, would help you fund all your future mods...fat CHICKS on the other hand....well, let's just say your new lift should get you over them with no issues....LMFAO!!!

I know right I have a girl right now and I love her to death but god damn women halt your mod process. If I was single I'd have a long arm setup ready to go instead I'm peacing together a poor man's lift lol. But oh well that's life I'm just trying to build this thing before I end up having kids and then the xj's really gonna hate me.:D
