Lift Kit?
Where would a good place to get a lift kit from be?
|
What do you want height wise and what do you do wheeling/ road wise
|
I just want something small. I want to keep it as my DD so not something big. I don't do very much off-roading and I would like to start but not anything to big since I want to keep it my DD. Thanks for the reply.

Depends, maybe a 3"? What's your price range? If you have a high price range check out old man emu or rubicon express. If you're Low on the budget try Zone or maybe rough country
|
iron rock offroad...they have exactly what your looking for
|
I am low budget (college student) I will probably end up going with rough country. Thanks!
|
Look in the for sale area for venders and read the Rough Country thread. Not saying don't use them just do some homework 1st.

Glad you posted that I didn't see that cheap of a lift on their site. Maybe I'll go with the Iron. I guess I'm down to research now haha
the only downfall i had was my rear leaf springs were cracked...not part of the lift at all...but it was a bump in the road very nice kit tho...just make sure you go over every nut and bolt to make sure they are tight. Iron rock is a great company...good service...i suggested them to many people and never heard one thing bad about them |
Go with the zone lift, if its going to be your DD rough country sucks, with a 90 degree shackle angle you better believe you wont want to drive it. I have helped friends install multiple RC lifts and and every time i manage to pick them apart with all the poor designs. I know from experience Zone makes a nice lift for the money, its literally BDS without the warranty

I guess my daily drive suck's then, even though I am pleased with it and had no issues.
What do I know I only drive the thing! |
If I go with Zone what all would I need on this page?http://zoneoffroad.com/prod-display?...94&dca=29&dsv= Do I need it all?
