XJ Suspension help
I have a 96 XJ with a Skyjacker lift kit. It has a add-a-leaf in that is sagging some. It think I am ~4-4.5" higher than stock in front and 3" in rear. I'm currently running JK 17" wheels with 255/75r17 (a little over 32") tires. I'm planning on getting leaf packs for the rear in the future.
I had 3 sets of wheels/tires. With each the steering wheel is turned at 10 o'clock to steer strait, there is a lot of play both ways. When I had 30" All terrians I had "death wobble" after going over a offset railroad track at ~70mph, starting slowing down of course. Never had them problem with 31" mud tires. With the JK wheels, adapters, and 32"+ tires I had shaking at ~55mph. I inflated them more and rotated and it seems to have gone away for now. When asking mechanics about it I usually get something along the lines of "everyone that runs wheel adaptors has shaking".
I'm thinking I should check the balancing of the wheels/tires.
Also if I should go ahead and replace what is probably the orginal steering stablizer and track bar since they are week points.
This is what Advance has, which parts should I buy, I think my discount is around 40-45% off these prices:
Track Bars:
TRW $86 Moog $101 OE Brand (?) $55
Steerign Stablizers:
Monroe $31 Rancho RS5000 (part rs5401) $56 Moog SSD56 $56 Moog SSD107 $86
I'm not sure which parts are "better". Ryan

I don't think tire are you problem. Basic suspension and steering maintenance is. You need to do an alignment, fix or replace any worn suspension and steering items (Ball joint, TREs, Bushings, Track bar, shocks, tire balance, ect. 10 oclock to go straight is simple 10 minute fix, scroll down this to find Alignment Write-up, just remember this guys in Aussie-land so rights and lefts are backwards.
Once you cover that stuff look at the tires and new lift. If you are a 4" of lift I'll assume you have adjustable control arms and adjustable trackbar and extended sway bar links. UNTIL YOU DO THE MAINTENACE, Modifications and Upgrades will not pay off or will make existing problems worse.

You'll be needing an adjustable track bar with the lift, not an advance auto one. Try Ironrockoffroad.com, also... if your steering components are in good shape, you don't even need a steering stabilizer. Putting one on is just a temporary band aid to cover the ongoing problems, and they will come back.

Its probably one of the lifts that was suppost to be 3", but ends up at a actual 4-4.5". Lift looks like it came with a relocation braket and the track bar is probably the orginal one. I guess if you have to buy a replacements its better to spend more on a aftermarket adjustable one and remove the bracket. First shop that look at it thought it was fine, it has been alligned.
