Lets Play Spot The Problems
SO I pulled the lil 4 banger today, but before I did we found a few things just taking the head off.

Well, of course, the first problem I see is that it's a four-banger! :D
Well, there's some obvious carbon build up, but the pic really isn't big enough to get much detail. That said, let's see, numbering from left to right.... Looks like you might have some head gasket problem between 2 & 3. Or maybe you just cleaned up there? Maybe a coolant leak problem between 3 & 4. Do you have some gouges or chips below #1? Definitely some grunge in the coolant passages. |
Looks like the valves on #1 have some dings and I believe the head is cracked between the valves on #4
