I don't like to subscribe for the story, but one of Jeep's suppliers isn't sending parts.

Dark days my friends. Dark days...

Suspend does not mean stop. Geeze folks do you honestly think DC will stop making the only vehicle that is still in high demand and that they can get premium dollars for?

The sky is not falling chicken little.

yeah good point^^^ but still you never like to see the words "Jeep's suppliers isn't sending parts"

They simply want to be paid for the parts they have delivered.
It's no big deal. Relax.

Everyone better buy another jeep for parts :-)

Chrysler wasn't paying Daimler (Mercedes) either for the parts it ships to Chrysler. They just had a big fight about that.
It's most likely the usual sabre rattling by the Suppliers who are sick of being the bank for Chrysler.
Frank is right about Jeep. That's the only good thing Chrysler has going for it. If Chrysler threw in the towel there would be Buyers lined up to buy the Jeep name.
I'm glad a Supplier finally had the Kahonas to tell Chrysler "hey look, pay us or we won't ship". Of course Chrysler and all the other OEM's have heard that many times so they blow it off.
Now maybe they'll start paying their bills and stop sticking it to the people they can't live without.
My guess is they will come to an agreement rather quickly and thwe show will go on.
Mike
