Default Jeep sounds like its about to stall but revs it self back up

So I know the title might not make much sense but, I really don't know how else to explain it. First of all, this is my first post here but I have found my self here a few times researching previous issues I have had in the past. So sorry if this is not the right place for this, but I thought I would start here. So I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee 2WD 4.0L automatic transmission. What will happen is at a stop it sounds like it's about to stall but then kicks back on. I have had idle issues before, but this one has no real singes of what would be happening. What it really sounds like is if you are driving a manual and shut the car off while going down a hill, and then clutch start the car. Only it happens within the span of about one second. This will normally happen once or twice at a stop. I've replaced everything I can think of on this jeep because of various other issues I have. This is the newest problem and it really has me at a loss. Mostly because I don't know how to word it so I can search it on Google. If anyone has any idea, any info would be awesome.

could be the aic or iac cont recall what they called it. my jeep was doing the same thing. cleaned it and the jeep went back to normal. actually i cleaned the whole throttle body unit. couldn't get the one piece off so it was easier to remove the throttle body and clean the whole thing. i actually had dirt and sand in there somehow guess prior owner didn't use an air filter at some point or another.

just something to check and its free to fix if you have carb or brake cleaner.

Link to my writeup. I wouldn't use carb or brake cleaner, use throttle body cleaner...both are harsher and could damage portions of your TB/sensors. Not saying it will, as I'm sure others will say "I DID IT WORKS FINE", but why chance it?
