Jeep Comanche 2wd To 4wd
 
Hi everyone.1 How are Hard it is to do this 2wd to 4wd converstion?
2 This is what i have so far 92 Mj 2.5 4spd 2wd and a Complete parts rig
91 Xj 4.0 Auto 4x4. Striaght swap over? Any help is great. Thanks!

But a quick answer is, it's going to take alot of work and green stuff (I just did a 4x4 swap my self) :D

^^ i thought the article was pretty in depth myself, glad they did it on a mj cuz it still applys for xj for the most part

it is a very easy swap i am not sure about that particular year XJ and MJ combination but ive seen first hand the making from 2WD to 4WD MJ and we wheel with it every weekend ( amazing with long wheel base BTW) it is a straight forward basically bolt in swap. The stock 2WD MJ has a dummy axle in there ( Straight Pipe ) same bolt locations etc.... Not sure why they bothered with it over 4WD not a huge price difference in cost to make im sure D30=dime a dozen
