the question is ive heard that the gearboxes are really crap on the cherokees ? true or false ? it is a 1997 modell v8 engine its gone 14 500 km

2 friends said the gearbox are no good on cherokees true or false?

They're not exactly bullet proof, but if the one you're looking at shifts smoothly and seems to have no issues I wouldn't be afraid to pick one up.

I say this with the assumption that you're referring to the transmission in a Grand Cherokee? I don't really have much knowledge about what they built over there...

is new sparks and sparkplugs and oil and lookthrough engine and gearbox

It looks like it checks out to me... Like I said, If it shifts and drives well, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, especially with such low numbers on the clock.

sounds good too me its just really far away so i hafto fly up like and drive it down i will hafto call him an ask him if it shifts ok. this car i will use for highway only back and forwards too work its about 15 minute ride and i would like too have a nice jeep with a v8 so i can fix it up about exhaust and stuff so it sounds badass and so such low miles its hard finding in sweden for the right money hehehe so u would buy it if it shifts alright ?
