We had a customer at our Jeep dealer who had purchased an XJ in Canada with the 2.5 diesel. Mean little monster and way torquey!

Wish they still had those here in the good ole USA.

Just wanted to include some updated pictures of the MJ that is being converted to the China XJ front end. Looks like he only has the grille and headlights.. but its looking good. This is really starting to grow on me.... wish I had the $$$ for it..and maybe if I had a street only Jeep.

Looks pretty bad*** but I still like the original "Boxy" look of the XJ/MJ front end. I know they had MJs with the Renault Diesel, but did they have XJs with it. I was thinking that they had it in the MJs simply beacuse it was a truck (even if it is tiny).

I wish I could find an older MJ with 4wd to build up..:)

Yeah I have thought about that too, but need a bigger truck with a bit more power and hauling capability so I am holding out for a 81-87 Chevy..

JP had an MJ built by Currie as a parts getter.. it was a pretty nice looking truck... http://www.jpmagazine.com/featuredve...che/index.html

I have thought about an M-715 but prefer the 81-87 Chevy at this point because I have one sitting in my driveway full of usable parts.. Just need the frame to swap everything onto...
