Install Air horn??
The horn in my 00 xj does not work. I believe this is related to the clockspring as my airbag light is on also. Started after a large water crossing about a year ago. Anyway.. My question is can I install an air horn kit without replacing the clockspring or will this render the new horn useless as well? Here is a kit for reference. THanks.

The issue you're having is likely not with the horn, it's with the triggering mechanism that relies on the clock spring to close the contact when the horn button is pushed. In short, the only way you'll get any horn to work is to either fix the clock spring or rig up an auxiliary horn button.
