I live a little south of Sacramento out in the country and while I really love it here, I'd move from California in heartbeat! Somewhere similar to this area, but I do want to be around snow country. Not enough to get snowed into my house, but enough for future kids to be able to have fun in.

ha I lived in Gurnee IL for a couple of years and liked it!!! anyway I am a Calif born and raised older guy and the only thing good here is the weather and the wheeling...most of the people suck...politcs are rigged the CARB owns you and the taxes are a joke...then there is the gas prices...so I will probably end up retireing at the colorado river or upstate AZ---i have to say I do miss the midwest storms though

I'm a Florida transplant in Denver. Best decision of my life. I live in the city but the mountains/trails are easily accessible. Great weather. People are great for the most part...besides the occasional trustafarian/know it all.

I'd like to go to Denver one day. I've got a few friends that have lived in Denver - no one ever has said anything negative about it.

If I was younger I would move to Western Australia, but I am too old now and they don't have any Renix Jeeps there.

Basslicks, here in winter is snow and cold and I hate all 8 months of it,
but for a few days now it have been about 25-30 C and sunshine.
Only good thing about Sweden is a lot of American cars & small trucks,
and I have a few , my newest is my -90 XJ, and I would newer buy a newer
car or truck.

That's cool man.... I know the cold does get old. Usually around the time the cold months are ending, I'm ready for warmer months... but I hate every minute of summer here.... somewhere between 95-100* F here with RH of about 97% - you feel like you're drowning when you walk outside and you need a shower from sweating so much just from being outside a few minutes.
I'm know the cold here is NOTHING like it is there though... I couldn't imagine. I like that you guys have old cars and trucks though.... I don't really like newer stuff either though.
