This is a rhetorical question because wheeling alone is stupid under many circumstances, but if someone were to flip a Jeep over how should they flip it back over. Basically covering these 3 scenarios, all assume that basic tools are provided such as tow straps, chains, Hi-Lift jack, tree saver, whatever else is on your rig.

Hill with no trees around and the Jeep flips on its side only.

Wooded area with a ditch the Jeep fully flips over onto its roof

On a beach hit a dune wrong the jeep flips all the way over.

I realize the circumstances play a major role but in general what should be done?

Joking aside...it'd probably be best to get someone with a winch to roll you back over for the safety...

yeah.................. I am currently out in the backwoods flipped over in all of these areas, at once.

first and foremost, make damn sure the jeep is in park before you do anything.
then with a tug strap or two, using a hi-lift and a tree saver, you can right it back over very easily.
DON'T use the hi-lift jack on the door or roof unless you want major body damage and or personal injury. lol.

but just don't wheel alone, period.

if you don't have the necessary equipment, just leave it till you can get help.

Where would the tow strap anchor on to? Or would it anchor to the front and rear tow points at the same time? What about jacking the roof side up and using momentum push it over?

Again I want to stress that this is only a rhetorical question.

most people i know dont even wheel with a hi-lift...in that case, start looking for firewood and start setting traps for food and i really hope you paid attention to bear grills and les stroud bc you are going to be there for a while

well, if you have 2 straps the same length, you can hook them up to the front and rear tow points, then in a triangular manner to the hi-lift, then the hi-lift to a tree strap. u can use a strap or two here for more length also.

but be sure to block the wheels so you don't just drag the jeep on it's side. give it something to butt up against so you can right it back over.

just be sure to stay out of the "spiders web" area of the straps. and use D-shackles where appropriate.

if you can only afford one strap to the vehicle, use a center point like the cross member or if there is a gutter mounted roof basket, use that. but don't hook to any suspension or steering components. that includes axles.

yep it would all depend on how many beers i had before i rolled that would influence my decision on how many beers it would take to roll it back over i would definitely upright the cooler first
