I wish I had got an MJ
After owning a truck for awhile then getting a Cherokee I thought I would be fine with a badass xj but now I wouldn't mind having a truck for my dirt bike. Anyone else have this problem? At least we have sweet trucks that look just like xj's. But buying an mj and transferring my lift and whatnot onto it, is not completely out of the question...

How big is your dirt bike? I knew of a guy that put his on one of those rear hitch racks. Think it was a 125. Never met him or asked about it but seen it driving around all the time and it looked legit.

Those hitch racks are good alternatives. I've hauled an old Honda 90(150?lbs.), my Yamaha 175(270?lbs.), and my dads 500lb Honda Nighthawk across 2 states with a little $100 one from Amazon. You could easily buy one and beef it up or just build your own if you have a welder

Trailers can be found pretty cheap. Safer than a hitch carrier and easier on the rear leafs.

Depending on your size of bike you might be able to toss it in with the seat down. I throw my 80' KX80 big wheel back there and it's a good size bike, probably the same size as a modern 125

I've been hauling dirt bikes around on the same rear hitch carrier for 10 years now. Used it on an F150, F250, and the XJ. I've had 125's, 250's, 450's, and currently have a 250r 2-stroke. The XJ does great. Can't even tell it's back there.

Ya I'm planning on a hitch carrier. I just sold my Yamaha 175 and now looking for a KTM 300. It will be light enough for the hitch. also I don't have enough room right now for a trailer and a hitch carrier will be cheaper
