Default I want to win a bet, so what do you think?

I would post this in the for sale section, but there is no way I'd ever sell my Jeep... ever, so its not really for sale. A friend bet me though that his rig was worth more than mine, I really don't think so but whatever, if his buddies at the k-5 blazer forum think his k-5 is worth less than my XJ I make 10 bucks. If this was really for sale what would do you think is a fair price to pay for my XJ?

2001 Jeep XJ Sport
4.0l (Oil Changed every 5kmi with Mobil 1 Synthetic/No leaks)
69,000 miles
Auto/Power Everything
3in Rough Country lift w/ full leaf pack
Rough Country LCA's
31x10.50 Cooper Discoverer ST's w/ 85% tread
Rear Aussie Locker (C8.25)
K&N FIPK
Bushwacker Cutout Flares w/ trimmed fenders
Warrior products front bumper.
Brand New Ball Joints/Rear Drums&Shoes, 3kmi on new front rotors/calipers/pads/brake lines.
Brand new Custom Paint
Great Condition overall, I usually even wash the mud off.
No Mechanical Issues at all.

So what do you think, what would you guys pay?

Unless the head has been swapped, $4,000 tops. If the head has been swapped, maybe $4,500.

I feel like I could probably part it out for almost 4 grand, I was thinking like around 6250, but I dunno, I haven't been shopping for XJ's in a while, maybe im crazy.

No harm done......a Jeep with out mud on it is really only a Chevy Trail Blazer.

problem is, they made fewer k-5s and they're full size.
but, your jeep is a more versatile vehicle, can go places a huge k-5 can't.

so, even if your jeep is worth less, i'd still take it over the chev.
and those bushwackers have to add some value, they're damn well expensive enough.

oh, and willys55, i like that comment. infact, if you don't mind, i'd like to take it as my new sig line.
thanks

nice jeep, probably 5g's tops though. Although I wouldn't pay more than around 3g's for a stock blazer in great shape. And i've owned 2. One lifted on 40s that I sold for about 4g. Removable top stopped in like 90 and they went to ifs front which makes any fullsize blazer after that crap. So your looking at a 20 year old truck at least . how many miles, what motor and what aftermarket mod's he's done can run the price up a bit. need more info

His K-5 is like an 89 with a rebuilt 350 and running on 38's with like 6-10 inches of lift (he bought it that way, so even he isn't sure how much its lifted). It handles like crap off road, most trucks that big are built for mud and that's about all they can do, but his cant even do that too great with both diffs being open and the tires going bald. Its pretty well restored, but I don't think there is any way its worth more than 4-5 grand, sorry I don't have a picture though.

I would buy a stock XJ over a lifted K-5.
