Hood vents are on my list of things to do also. Just curious on how you attatch them? Self tapping sheet metal screws or some adhesive route?

mine have drip pans with them, so the bolt and pinch the hood. depends on the vents.

You do really need drip pans to divert the rain from falling on the dist. and intake area. These are labaron vents

i guess the labaron ones are more clean looking than any other. Off to the JY when I get a chance again.

good luck finding them at the JY. Not very easy. As far as drip pans, a lot of people dont use them. I do because i have a bug in the electrical i have to figure out.

i removed the under bonnet sound deadning, that made a marked diffrence last weekend as it was the rnr birthday bash, still got hot but didnt 'cook'.

im thinking along the lines of using a small [motorcycle] cooling fan to pull the hot air out from under the bonnet, with some type of hood vent to allow this.

has anyone seen the round type that they fit to lard rovers?? there ugly but work and stop water getting in to the engine bay.
soz cant find a pic at mo
