eventually i will either be making a bumper or buying one. right now its a piece by piece jeep. to remove and cut n fold doesnt cost much. bumpers are a FORTUNE!!

You folded? I was going too but I had so much rust I decided to cut it all and put diamond plate in there! Here are some pics. Yours is straight nice job! Lol I got lazy. This was first phase lol don't have any of the finished product but ill get some.

That's the side I had rust on mine. It makes me sad that I gotta hack those up but oh well.
Maybe I could cut the rust off and weld some sheet metal back and just run the caps. I dunno sorry for going off topic.

I went out "just to look" at it originaly. lol. wife says "yeah right, look at it", thats what i ended up with. of course, i go out to work on MY jeep and low n behlod, here comes the darn snow!!! so i only got 1 side done. it was the worst side, maybe tomorrow ill do the other after work, then i need to fix the rockers. again, the passengers side is the worst, why is that?

I did the quarter fold on my last XJ cause of the rust in it, and on my new XJ as I like the look and plan to wrap my other bumper around underneath it.

I got rust on mine too and i am just waiting for some warmer days before i dive in. but i'm ready and able.
