when i bought mine, i actually came across three CL listings for 97+ 2 door 4x4 4.0 5-speed and only one for a 97+ 4 door. guess it depends on the area.

Well mabe I will have to check one out at some point in time.
I'm 6ft tall and have never hit my knees. I had a 2door s-15
Jimmy and it felt roomier than the 4door did. so I can under
stand tha.

In November of 1996, I purchased a new two-door 4x4 because it was over $1200 less expensive than the four-door version. For going on 15 years and 231,000 miles, I have enjoyed the ease of ingress and the compliments on it's body style.

In 1984, wasn't one of the incentives to buy a Cherokee was that it could be had with four doors while the S-10 Blazer and Bronco II could not? Customers were tired of having to crawl and twist into a back seat.
