Call a few shops in your area and find out, but I would guess somewhere between $0 and $1,000,000.

Kidding. Average out the estimates your receiving and that should give you an idea on the fair shop rate. Or if cost is that important you could always search for info on how to do this job. Lots of guys do this when they install rear discs, many writeups out there with pics that could help guide you through. |
not sure what it would cost to have a garage do it, but i grabbed a 97+ dual diaphragm booster from the wreckers for 20 bux and only needed to buy a couple short lines to hook up the proportioning valve body.
i did all the work myself, didn't take much actually, and i was in about 35 - 40 bux including new brake fluid. i can see a shop charging about 1 hr labour to swap out the boosters and another hour for bleeding. not sure what the cost of a new booster is. |
I paid $58.00 for a brand new NAPA master Cyl. and $73.00 for a reman dual diaphram brake booster for a 96 XJ
If you start doing the simple stuff like this yourself you will save a ton of money, because Jeeps always seem to need work,LOL. :whistling2: |
