Keep it. Are you in the dry part or humid part of Texas? If it is rust free, 4k wouldn't be ridiculous, at least not around here. My 96 with 108xxx was $3500

 

msot likely i could see 2000 at the lowest and 3000 at the highest . i got my for 1500 granted it was my dads buddy but he took care of it .

 

My '91 w/69,000 miles only KBB's for $1500 to $2000. And that is only because it's a Limited. With all the bells and whistles.

 

Hahahaha everyone i already know is going to say it lol i got down on my knees to buy this one lol completely stock when i got it i paid 6,200 hahahaah with 41,000 miles about a year ago for it... Ya i know i got rapped lol But idk i like it but now that i have it and done some stuff to it when its time for the real stuff like lift and bumpers and tires and rims lol its way pricey lol....

u overpaid for sure, but it's alright. at least u got a reliable vehicle with low miles. what were u gonna get? a used tahoe with a 100k miles and a list of problems to come. and maybe 16mpg.
so, u fell in the right direction. like other people said, XJ with low miles is hard to come by. especially in 5-speed.
it might have no resale value, but it definitely has an ownership value. i'll sell my '04 dakota in tip top shape waaaaaay before i'll even consider selling my XJ.

 

Lol my bad spelt it wrong lol... but ya another sad part about getting it for that much was that about 2 months after having it the freaking radiator. Crack on me going down the freeway wright before t or c and socorro lol and i was headed to albuquerque so when i finally got there with the heater blowing hot air the hole time i get to alb to have it fixed and they tell me 1155 for new radiator. And pumps and all new holes hahaha but hey atleast i know for sure it wont happen again lol i got a 50,000 miles warranty on it.
