How important is the AC compressor?

you can pick up an automotive stethoscope, their not expensive at all, and can help you pinpoint where certain noises are coming from

I fixed it, it was the bearing on the compressor, was all locked up. i was gunu get the by pass pulley but i live in the desert and its hot. I like the AC

lol I know how ya feel mines always warm again by the next summer, I just charge it back up at work haha

I spent 100 on new compressor and another 120 for 90 degree adaptors to make it fit on mine. still have yet to get the AC boost... lol fail!

At least you got a good deal on the compressor haha, the junk yard by my work wanted $130 for a used one wtf

I live in Texas with no ac, I guess since I work in a shop with no ac I'm used to it

You don't have to fab anything all you need is basic ratchets sockets, grinder and a drill
