OK - pic of the screw. Check.
Can you give us a more wide-angle pic, and tell use what the screw is for (or make it so that it's clear from the pictures?)
However, in a place like that, I'd have removed the hex head capscrew and replaced it with a socket head capscrew - which is the sort of situation those screws were invented for!
NB: A good-quality socket head capscrew, of known provenance, is routinely H&T to Class 8 (SAE) or Property Class 12.9 (ISO.) "Known provenance" doesn't include Chinese - they may have good feedstock, but they can't heat-treat worth a damn.

Ex: I had to replace screws for an oil pump job I was doing. I should not be able to have a 5/16"-18 screw strip, with 15 pound-feet of applied torque, going into a casting. Worse - the threads were stripped off of the screw!
I finally pulled a couple of studs out of my "parts bin" and threw them in - problem solved. Then I wrote a very strong letter to the fasteners buyer for my local hardware store. Seems I'm the only one that's complained so far, since they're still carrying that crap...
