How far do you drive to hit dirt?
I mean wheel for a day.
I drive at least 1.5hrs YOU? |
To Withlacoochee the drive is 60 minutes from my location.
I could also use some nearby locations, but they're not absolutely "legal." I tend to stay away from them even though they're less than 10 minutes from my house. |
I'm about an hour from some real solid local wheeling. I've spent many a day there discovering new trails. There are tons of closer spots but you'll get four hours out of them...tops.
Beyond that, I'm roughy two hours from Rausch Creek. I have yet to get out there though. |
20 minutes south west to the closest ohv area. Then there are 2 more about 30 minutes south east and north east. Then there is Moab 2-1/2 to 3 hrs south. Utah is great for wheeling
|
15 hours
|
If I'm already up north (in northern Wisconsin) About 500 ft. If I have include the drive up north 2.5 hrs
|
5 mins for dirt, 15 mins for trails, 20 mins for mud, 2 hours to OHV
|
Typically 1.5 to 5.5 hours. There are a couple areas closer, but they dont offer much of a challenge.
I have driven days to go wheeling before as well, but the trip wasnt solely for wheeling (though that was the main reason for the trip) |
There's dirt right behind my house. I could go punch it anytime I want! Lol
There's a "trail" about 20mins away from me. Good trails about an hour |

we have thousands of kilometers of snowmobile trails we get to use for free in the summer. days and days of wheeling without running the same trail twice. |
45 minutes to an hour.

2.5hrs-12hrs

Twenty minutes to some decent trails in the woods. An hour to the nearest off road park.
