Looks really good for a 93. There is a ton of extra plumbing in the engine compartment that is unfamiliar to me. Do you mean to say that it runs on gasoline AND some form of a gaseous fuel such as propane or natural gas?
It needs rear springs. |
Thats really clean. What is all that plumbing for? Appears to be connected to the cooling system.

Thanks a lot for your answers, any other opinions are still very valuable for me.
It’s petrol and LPG, not sure about the plumbing, asked the mechanic and he said it’s fine. needs rear springs as well as a new radiator, ball joints and some smaller fixes. would someone care to explain me why some cherokees from the same year and same engine have a limit of 180km/h on the dash, while on others (like this one) it says that the limit is 85mph? |
It does look good. The places I would look for serious rust would be the foot areas of the driver and front passenger area. Mine looked great as well but when I pulled the carpet back I found repaired holes - several that were 4 inches square.

If you just let it vaporize on its own, it will soon freeze up the injectors, like an aerosol can freezing up when sprayed too much. Many moons ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth and I was young, I remember reading an article about a BB machine gun. It used cans of Freon as the propellant, and shot BBs out full auto. The author had some fun with it at his local swamp, shooting down dragonflies. Very un-PC, but probably a blast! :D He said the only problem was that after a while, the Freon can would freeze up and you'd have to warm it up with your hands to keep shooting. Paintball shooters have a similar problem. |
