Help me settle this once and for all!! Bumpers...
Alright I'm so freakin indecisive!!
Can't decide on a front bumper to save my life! I like several of them but all have something i want a little different or tweeked a hair.
I've got it down to JCR's winch with hoop bumper, Rigidco's FB2(I think) with small hoop and, AJ's winch bumper.
JCR's is cheapest.
Rigidco's is the best as far as mounting IMO but it seems to not fit up to the Jeep's bodylines and header panel.
Aj's is sweet and built well but idk if i could spend the money they want for it and I wanna be able to fix a few things on my long arms and get a new catalytic converter too.
And I know different bumpers look better on different size XJs so that's the other thing I'm trying to consider. They all have several pics of their bumpers on XJs but they are all pretty small and i don't like a bigger custom bumper on an XJ with 31s IMo it looks funny haha so I think that's what might be throwing me from JCR and Rigid cuz AJs got several pics of bigger(33s+) and I like the way it fits them.
So help me settle this once and for all so I'll quit losing sleep over it haha.
Pics are appreciated.

i like the JCR one because of the price, looks, and durability. however, i hate how it wraps around to meet the fenders. the flares stick out and they would just rip right off if you brushed up against the tree. i was gonna buy there winch bumper but that was the reason why i ended up making my own.
i have no experience with Rigidco
AJs stuff is just pure beef. yeah its a steep price, but i think it would be worth it (if you have the funding).
if i had the funds to pick any of those, i'd probably go with AJs.

well being since i dont use fender flares. i would probably go with JCR. i like the fact that it wraps around to the fenders and its not too hard on the wallet for guys on a budget like myself. no harm in having a little extra protection if you ask me.

I ain't got no flares! Lol
so that isn't a problem. It's kinda hard to tell how far back the ends come though really. And the mounting I'm sure is good I just didn't find many pics of it in detail.
Wish AJs website was workin so I could see pics of his stuff. Seen it before and I love the one winch bumper he makes I jus wouldn't mind droolin sone more lol.

Ah dang! It just says it's under construction. Same with Rigidco's for like 4 years lol. Rigidco has changed a few bumpers and added several things it just doesn't shownon his site.

I'd go with the JCR. I think it looks the best, and it is the cheapest. I had a JCR bumper and loved it. No problems with the install, and it held up great.

Thinkin about JCR's non winch stage 4 really hard. But its $44 for the unibody tie-ins...kinda stinks. Wish they were welded on the bumper to begin with...
But for about $375 shipped is speaking to me haha. It seems to fit good too from the pics Ive seen. But that SlikRock bumper from AJ's is pulling on me too haha. I just dont like many winch bumpers cuz of how far they stick out from the grille...

Yeah with no flares and trimmed fenders side protection is a must for me. Itll keep tree limbs and crap from running down the side of my fenders like they do now...
And I think theyll meet up real good with where my fender lip ends.
