Help me out guys!

Bought this a while back from the gun show and had thoughts of using it but idk where to put it. Any ideas where you guys might think it would look cool mounted.

Examples- back hatch
Side of rear quarter panel etc...

It's a legit gas can all the markings match the web site lol

I would mount it on the hatch. Less to smack against rocks and trees and such.

i've got 2 jerry cans (fuel and H2O) i built barn door style swingouts on both side of the licence plate (simliar to a spare tire swing out) mounted to my custom bumper. the idea was to still be able to open the rear hatch with out the additional 80+ pounds on the hatch when it is open.

Second that, on the sides you'd have some issues off road trying to squeeze between trees and obstacles etc.

Very true thanks guys oh and one more thing any IDE what I should do to mount the bracket the Jerry can came with? Lag bolts? Drill 4 holes and just bolt it? Any ideas?

GreenXJ95 09-09-2011 04:35 PM

I'd like to mount it a safe easy way

Gee oh Dee 09-09-2011 04:39 PM

Do you still have the interior trim on the hatch?
