Do you intend to travel here?

I charge $45 an hour.

I can't start until next weekend.

3" lift, links all around, 37's, rock jock 60's, coil-overs... what's your budget?

Here:
Rustys competition 4 link
Old man emu 2 inch leafs
1 inch shackle
Rustys 3 inch coils
Bilstein 5100s 5165s or 7100s (which ever you can afford)
456s and run 33s
488s and run 35s.
Rock Krawler trac bar
Serious 1ton steering

You buy all that and your set.

hey hey come on no guys he said he'll trim his fenders within reason

if you're part of the bolt on crowd like me I'd try something like this http://full-traction.com/detail.php?...CTID=510&NOTES=
then pick up some 35" tires with deep offset wheels and build your axles and steering

i love everyone who says they have no budget, bc if you didnt have a budget, you wouldnt be posting here; you'd be handing a check over to builder to have a chassis built with parts we read about in magazines.

if you want to spend 2 grand total (which is my assumption here, bc you said 2000 on a lift and thats quite a bit for posters on here) and plan on buying all the parts, i recommend you stay on 33s.

-4:10s or 4:56s (manual/auto), and autolockers front and rear. thats a grand already.
-V8 ZJ coils and maybe a .75" spacer, bastard pack rear + shackle, ZJ upcountry shocks f/r with BPEs... couple hundo.
-good set of aggressive MTs... at least a couple hundo.

If he had no budget he may not be building an XJ either. Lol.

If it was 2k for just suspension/steering then id go for either the rustys 4 link or the full traction kit above..then serious 1ton steering.

2k is about what i got into mine and i haven't re-geared yet.
its easy to drop that amount on lift, tires and rims.

Now 2k on just lift and steering?? you would have a nice setup but you still need tires and maybe rims.

Id rather Clayton's 3 link. I love my RK four link but 3 links work better. No binding, all solid joints.
