The spacer goes above your front coil springs so you will have to drop the springs out to put the spacers between them and the upper mounting area.
To insall the AAL you will have to drop the rear axle by removing the U bolts. Then you will have to remove the center pin from the spring pack and sandwich your AAL in where your directions tell you too.
The shocks are easy. Kist remove upper and lower bolt and drop them o0ut and install the new ones. Be careful of the upper shock mounts in the rear. Hit them with a lot of PB Blaster as they may be corroded. The upper bolts can snap off easily.

yeah you can do it yourself. you'll see that its not bad once you get into it. air tools are handy but not always necessary, i only used them to buzz off my LCA bolts. get some PB blaster for helping to loosen rusty bolts.

it's similar to wd40, only stronger for rusty bolts that litter these jeeps we drive. you can pick it up at any local hardware or auto parts store.

that plastic is there to keep the shock compressed so it takes up less room in shipping.
Your going to need a basic set of tools Socket set (3/8 and 1/2" drive) Wrenches, jack, jackstands. A breaker bar will be a great thing to have if you dont have air tools.
Installing a lift kit is not a huge job but its not a small one either. Years ago I helped a friend lift his old 'yota pickup and with both of us having a good amount of experience working on cars but no experience installing lifts it went pretty smooth.

No bricks!!! A little set of stands should only run u $20 -$30, & a breaker bar is a long ectetion on ur rachet or just some metal tubing (fench post works) to slide over the handle of ur rachet to get more leverage!!!

yep, you'll have to kinda pull the shock back compressed somewhat as you put it in and line up the holes, cuz as soon as you cut off that plastic you'll see they extend out.
