I need to find out why oil is leaking from my cold air intakes filter? Any ideas?

If you have a hose running from the rocker cover to the cold air intake it could be too much crankcase preasure pushing oil into the intake tube. Or maybe someone over-oiled the filter if you are talking aftermarket filter.
Just a thought.

Road draft that breather tube, but I think that is illegal. Seal off the hole in the airbox (I used a bolt and an o-ring), and get one of those little ricer breather filters they sell at auto parts stores, attach to breather tube. Worked great for me, no more needing to clean my throttle body and IAT every six months. (but I do it anyway)
