Heater core bypass questions
hey family
my passenger rug is getting fairly wet. I believe it's water. My question is if i bypass my heater core can I still use my air conditioner for this hot summer? Am I jeopardizing anything by doing this?

if you lift your carpets you will find rotted floors. water leaks in around the air intake on pass side. my 2000 needed 2 new floor liners/floor pans.you can buy them anywhere. lots of work.
your water has nothing to do with heater/air.

You will still be able to use AC. The two systems are not connected to one another.
The only thing you're doing that "could" be considered negative is that you're removing an outlet for your coolant to flow, so it has less surface area to cool down inside of and this means your radiator does extra work.
Bypassing your heater core temporarily will not harm your Jeep. You can do it for as long as you need to until you get your heater core replaced.

I want to know if my ac condenser is bad
Air conditioner works its nice and cold
so I lifted up the carpet and I only seen water
there was a pretty large white pad wrapped with plastic that was pretty wet but not with anitifreeze just water. No holes or rust on actual floor

Water on the floor is common. Can be caused from leaky windshields, blower motor seals, and door seals among other things.
Good to know your heater core is not leaking.
