Smile has anyone color matched their grill on the '91 style chromes

If you have painted your chrome grill black or to match your paint color, how did it turn out? I am considering doing this, and I want to see how it might look, anyone got pics?

Like these? (just from a google search) I think it was the "Limited" trim that had it that way, or maybe it was an option.

Cherokee Country trim had the color-matched front ends and painted flares/bumpers. The flares and bumpers could be body-color or an accent color depending on year and main color... the darker colors got an accent color like silver or tan.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure if I want to keep the all white look or not. I'll have it at stock hight soon hopefully and that'll make it easier to decide

Thanks. I bought it like this (I've only had it for 3 weeks). I replaced the bumper that was on it with the one from my Cherokee and I had to paint it though. It matches good enough for now, but I just got the Chrysler white paint at the parts store (complete rip off by the way).

Best way to do it would be to get the color code for the paint on your jeep and buy it online. Depending on how faded your paint is, it should match up pretty well

My ZJ is the metallic green (factory) but i am planning on doing the entire thing white. Any other brands you could recommend since the factory is a rip off. haha

The stuff I used was the "duplicolor perfect match" and the only reason I think it was a rip off was that one $7 can wasn't even enough to finish my bumper, it still needs 2 more coats or so.
As far as recommending a brand, I really can't because I've mainly just used rustolium spray on bedliner

For plastics (stock fender flares, ZJ Bumpers, etc.) Krylon paint, goes on easy, lasts, looks great.

Spray caning a whole jeep will look ugly in the end,Its best to have a body shop paint it if you want it looking good.

I did my 92 flat black and it was nice. I have some painting experience and i know spraypaint looks good when done right. But im planning on using the rustoleum canned paint in my sprayer like i normally do just for the sake of better results
