Being a 2000 id skip it over that and his price is higher then its really worth.Book value does not go up adding on parts like a lift and bigger tires.

It's borderline. A bit high IMO.

Remember we do live in Michigan so check the lower quarters and under the flares. That's where mine had some rust. Also that rough country lift could be an aal which will sag quick if used with old leaves.

The ad says it's a Florida Jeep, but that isn't necessarily a good thing. They could have been doing donuts at the beach and taking salt baths for all you know. That bubbling under the quarter glass could be minor to holy crap, so I would inspect that carefully as well as get under and look really hard. If those things check out and it drives nice, it could be a decent deal if he's willing to negotiate. The light bar adds $1k at least.

That thing is a street best. It's never seen sand or dirt that wasn't on pavement. Total mall crawler. If you are nearby, go take a look. Inspect the underside THOROUGHLY (floor pans, rear quarters, rockers, etc!).

Then, if it looks and drives good, make him a low offer. If it TOTALLY checked out, I might offer $3500. I paid $4k for mine with an RE 6" lift, on 35's, geared to 4.56, under 200K on the engine, and maintained by a mechanic owner, so that's the candle I hold other vehicles against.

He don't list anything about what gears it has or any type of lockers so probably stock gears and open diffs. And no shots under it so who knows whats all really done and wrong with it.

Anytime you buy something in non-running condition it is considered a "Parts Jeep" what you see is what you get, then only half of what you can see and nothing you hear counts.

That is the only way to buy that kind of thing and not lose your AZZ 90% of the time.
