so... even tho the jeep itself has 2XX,XXX miles on the body.. its had many upgrades..
Rubicon super flex 4.5 lift
real nice front bumper..
newer engine with bearings replaced 50K miles ago when i put engine in..
new wheel bearings up front..
new u joints
2 door 4x4
Ice cold A/C
5 speed
power windows & locks..
overhead compass ,,, not working tho.
fixing to install new ball joints & tie rod ends..
and there are a few small rust spots I will weld in new metal and have painter friend blend in.

The diesels are certainly more rare than any other jeep, at least here in the states.
unfortunately a lot of people willing to spend 4K on a Cherokee want a clean jeep, with low miles, and minimal upgrades.(so they can pick and choose what they want.)
If the body is mint and the interior is complete and clean then you may find a buyer, but here in the Chicago-land you'd be lucky to get 2500 for pretty much ANY Cherokee with over 150K
and as a side note I wouldn't necessarily call new u joints, bearings, ball joints, tie rods, even engine bearings, an upgrade as much as I would consider it maintained and repaired. Most Cherokees with that mileage will need those parts sooner than later, if not already replaced.

Yea I've been told my 2 door laredo (power everything) with the aw4 is quite rare but most 2 doors that i've seen are standards.

Originally from Jersey myself, DE now but I understand what you mean. I wish mine was mostly manual, ripping the carpet out and bedlining makes the wires more of a hassle. Plus race seats mount to manual brackets which are different.

Yessir. I prefer my jeeps to have manual everything (except trans, love my AW4). Makes life easier and IMO, more of a Jeep. Don't get me wrong, power windows are a wonderful thing but it adds to the nostalgia when you grab that handle and crank that window.
