Fun times in an XJ
Just wondering what type of crazy, dangerous, stupid, and amazing time you all have had in your rigs.
Ill start,
The night started with a case of beer, a couple friends and my old 91 two door five speed.
After a few good hours in the woods and a bit of a buzz, we ended up on a four wheeler trail on my friends land. Course the trail was a bit too thin for the jeep but that didn't stop us. We went for a few miles, got lost ended up dropping off a ten foot ledge at the end of the trail.
I drove that rig a half hour home that night not knowing what type of damege waited for me in the morning.
Woke up the next day to a 1" thinner jeep with a huge branch sticking through the radiator and two broken windows.
From then on you couldn't get me to own anything but an XJ!!!

stuck in the middle of a swamp on a cool fall night with a bright moon. it's really relaxing hearing the night sounds after just shutting 'er down, smelling the mud cooking on the exhaust and seeing the moonlight filtering down through the trees.

How much beer did you drink before you were unable to notice a 10' drop off in front of you?!?
We need pics of said XJ after surviving the drop!

My best story was Senior year 3 friends and i went offroading after a recent rain on our senior halfdays. We buried my cherokee up to the door handles on one side and up to the rockers on the other. Ended up being pulled out by a massive front end loader whos operator spoke no english (another story).
I left the windows open overnight to help dry it out and the temperature dropped below freezing and I had to drive the cherokee to school full of ice.
Great times we had on those senior half days.
