How much engine noise do you guys hear while driving your XJ's? Just curious because I feel like my driver's side is fairly noisy but I am not sure if it's normal. Sounds like lifters and injectors but not positive. Also just replaced the header.

Engine noise in your driver's seat? Did you make sure your engine is under the hood?
On another note, I'm sure many Jeeps are loud. I can hear every single spurt of fuel from sitting in the driver's seat. I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, just that you can hear everything working correctly LOL.

Yeah I can see what you mean, I just enjoy making my interior as sound as possible. I was actually thinking about putting some sound insulator on the firewall and floor to see if it would reduce the noise.

I got so many sounds coming from my XJ it sounds like a tone deaf, blind, fingerless orchestra.
But I hear many noises from the engine because of a cowl intake for one. But also because the Cherokee is naturally loud. Did you check to make nothing is loose?
Maybe stand in front of the engine bay and have someone else step up the rpms alittle to see if anything makes funny noise.
Dynomat makes a pretty big difference. Can get pricey but for the quality its pretty worth it. And easy to do yourself.
