I recently put 2" rough country shackles on my xj, and it may not have anything to do with my problem but today i was driving down the road and my brake pedal started shackin along with the rest of my jeep. There was a loud almost like banging noise and it sounded like it was coming from the rear of my xj. It is cold and rainy today, could that effect it? Help me please!

just a shot in the dark here. I bought a jeep once for 300 bucks and the previous owner had shackles on the rear. Not just 1 pair but 2 pairs. He had attached the new shackles to the stock ones. Not the best idea but i can see how the mistake was made. I drove it for a lil while the way it was just to pass emissions and get it registered. Loud bang and a leaf had broken in the pack. Im assuming it had something to do with "dual shackles" lol. When the weather cheers up grab a camera and snap some pics. check for brake fluid and anything out of place. The pics would help us see if anything is out of place
