drop pitman arm

is it possible to drop your pitman arm TOO MUCH?

i found a drop pitman arm online that gives a 4" drop on xj's and just wondering if this can hurt more than it can help

i have a 4.5 lift, is there a recommended drop? or is any drop good

dont think one that long is for that size lift i ran no drop pitman arm with 6.5 lift and had no probs different steering arms would be better m2c worth

well i plan to go higher in the future, i mean i know it can "get by" with the stock pitman but does it at least help to get a dropped one? i've heard different opinions.

and how much drop do you really even need, i know the zj pitman gives xj like a 1" drop

yes it decreases the angles of the steering less chance of breaking i think a stok zj drops it about one inch get one from jy when you go bigger buy the longer one

Ya, the stock ZJ arm will give you 1 inch drop. Thats plenty enough unless your going much past 6 inches
