Default Dont know what inch lift I have? 91 cherokee

I am wondering if anyone has heard of a 10" lift that was made for a cherokee? Was wondering because the factory height of a cherokee is 63.3 inches and my cherokee with little 235s was 73 inches.

the jeep was bought by a friends dad from origional owner. his son drove it throughout all of high school and my cousin bought it off his dad, and finally I ended up trading for it. so there's no way to ask the original owner any questions.
My questions are, how much is it really lifted? are there any 10" kits out there? feel free to tell me what size lift it looks like, as i have no clue. looks like 6.5 inches to me but the tape measure and wikipedia vehicle height say otherwise. friends dad also said it was lifted 10".
I just bought some 33x15.50x15 super swampers on 10" wide and at max flex they have 1" fender clearance, no trimming. all opinions welcome.

Looks like at least 10 to me. Measure from the top of the rear axle tube to the uni body frame rail. Stock is supposed to be something like 6.5" front is somewhere around there too. Google it and there is a good page somewhere that shows pictures and exact factory gap.

Measure from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender flare. Stock is 17.5 inches in the front and 17 inches in the rear. Eg a 6.5 inch lift would be 24 inches up front and 23.5 inches out back.

Thank you. tomorrow i will measure fender gap. and You were spot on about the rust issues. although pictures were taken with it at almost full flex(testing weld strength)

I repaired the unibody when i got the jeep and welded the leaf spring brackets, They were through the floor pushing into the back seat and it cut the fuel pump/tail light wire harness. i reinforced the unibody using 1/4" steel plating and made sure i welded into factory position.

I will include pictures of the rust damage along with the actual lift tomorrow, Again thank you all.
edit: the pics show how is sat with rusted leaf brackets. an the quick repairs i made to brackets. as well as when it had stock tires.

It looks like a 6 1/2" kit. Hopefully you were just starting to fix the spring pocket. Doesn't look bad overall.
