Sometimes it looks like it is and other times I can't really tell.

Want to see what you all think.

Thanks guys.

I guess it's really a no brainer considering when I bought it the shocks were COMPLETELY shot it the front and back. The rears were the original shocks.

There is no reason I should feel my 110 lb wife in the back seat when driving down the road.

Gonna order some new ones. What kind should I go for? I don't really want to lift it because I just bought new shocks.....unless I can lift it and keep the shocks I have.

The rear pack is probably flat. If so, shocks will not help it. You might be able to do a long add a leaf or do a bastard pack with just one additional leaf to stabilize it. Or new leafs. If you add a bar pin eliminator or ditch the rear stabilizer bar and use the parts for a homebrew bar pin eliminator, you'd get an extra inch or so out of the shocks if you did a little lift.

Just ideas...

Is it a stock suspension and what tires are you running?

You should be able to look at the leaf pack and tell right away if its sagging.

They still have a little arch to them but I didn't know how much they are supposed to have.

I am just going to buy some new OE replacement packs because I don't want to have to junk my brand new shocks. I replaced them because it was like riding in a go cart because they were shot. I compressed the old ones when I pulled them off and try didn't push back out.....at all!

Now I'm kinda worried about my other suspension and steering components being worn prematurely.

One of bumpstops is broke from bottoming out on the leaf at one point or the other.

I don't have a problem with lifting it as long as I can keep my shocks. They alone were $200.

Can I lift it with say some new leafs in the back and just coil springs in the front and keep my OE style shocks? Is that possible or is my only option to lifting it, replacing the shocks.

I don't even want a lot of lift.

One other thing.

One of my buddies weighs close to 300 lbs.

I gave him a ride one day and I could feel his weight in the front seat. The right front of my Jeep was squatted and it felt like it wanted to drift to the right. When he got out, all went back to normal.

This was before the new shocks.

Does this sound right, or do you think my front springs are shot too.

I wouldn't imagine that this is typical.
