does a grand cherokee power steering pump fit on a cherokee sport
Hi, i was wondering if a grand cherokee power steering pump fit on a cherokee sport. I need a new power steering pump and only see ones with no pulley already installed on it.

Technically, yes - but I think there is one fitting that needs to be swapped to plug-in to the XJ steering lines

EDIT:
The pulley you are supposed to remove from the old pump and press onto the new pump. Autozone rents the power steering pulley removal and installer tool, makes it really easy.
Watch out for the parts store rebuilt pumps. I went through 2 of them before having a local rebuilder build me a reliable pump. Haven't had an issue with my power steering since!

I bought a puller for 12quid. You can easily swap the pulley over, just don't be tempted to use heat and a hammer....
